A little heart pillow with a story.

If you’d like to make this Valentine’s a bit more special, here is a quick and easy project for you. It’s perfect for beginners in amigurumi, as well as more advanced crocheters.

The unique shape, modeled after real hearts, which have one side bigger, will take you off the well-trodden path of perfectly symmetrical hearts. Make this for your partner, a friend, a family member, and use it to record memories together by adding patches over time.

The fluffy yarn is super easy to work with, nice on your hands, with no cramping as in classic amigurumi. There is no sewing involved (other than weaving through one tail) and the whole project takes between one and two hours.

Video available here on YouTube and left handed video available here.
