Red, white and blue combine in this brioche pattern to create a patriotic fingering weight cowl that can be worn for any summer celebration but especially for Memorial Day or the 4th of July. It’s perfect to show your spirit and keep the chill off when you are watching fireworks after the sun goes down.
It is knit in the round and is an easy brioche pattern with several color changes in it.
One size fits most. It uses both US 2 and US3 needles with a gauge of 18 st and 24 rounds in 4”.
The finished measurements are 60” in circumference and 9” in height.
The pattern uses about 300 yds of the main color (Blue) and about 150- 200 yards of each contrasting color (red and white). I used Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply Superwash Merino wool.
