“Paw prints in snow” is a cozy and adorable lace knitting pattern for fingerless gloves featuring a trail of cat (or dog or any animal) pawprints running up through your hand. Perfect for cat lovers and cozy style enthusiasts!
Materials:
- 2.5 mm (US 1½) double-pointed needles (DPNs) set of 5, or circular 2.5mm (US 1½) 80cm,
- 25 g of yarn that meets the gauge. I use ALIZE ANGORA GOLD in colour: 40 blue (100 g = 550m or 3.53 oz = 601 yds),
- tapestry needle,
- 2 stitch markers,
- different colour scrap yarn,
- scissors.
Techniques required:
- cast on,
- k - Knit,
- p - Purl,
- K2TOG - knit 2 sts together,
- SSK - slip, slip, knit,
- KFB - knit into front and back of same stitch,
- M1LP - make 1 purl left leaning,
- M1RP - make 1 purl right leaning,
- M1LK - make 1 knit left leaning,
- M1RK - make 1 knit right leaning
- YO - yarn over.
Pattern includes a written instructions for every row, charts and photos of important steps.
