Pay it Forward is an asymmetrical triangle scarf worked on a bias. It is a great stash-buster and a quick knit, using one skein of two contrasting colours, with limitless aesthetic possibilities. This scarf drapes beautifully and is a fun, versatile accessory. This is an easy to work pattern, suitable for the beginner or someone looking for an easy to follow, stress free project.

As a youth, I found solace and expression in art and particularly fibre arts. There were a number of influential people in my world who invested resources or offered mentorship so that I may develop my skills and explore opportunities I would not have otherwise had to both express myself artistically and support my family through my fibre arts.

Pay It Forward is a tribute to all of those who pay it forward and foster the growth of arts and culture in our youth. A portion of the profits from this pattern will be used to support youth art, culture and mental health initiatives.

In addition, a portion of the proceeds go to support loans to textile artists through Kiva. Please see my lender’s page here.

Furthermore, another way I want to pay-it-foward is to offer this pattern at a pay-what-you-can rate to those who otherwise might not be able to afford it. Use the coupon code below that allows you to Pay It Forward!
