This sock pattern was first published as part of the Sock Madness 2018 competition.


The Pearls-on-a-String Socks are covered in a cable pattern which resembles strung pearls. The pattern is worked in false cables - far easier than it looks - and quite addictive!

The construction is top-down and the heel is a modified fleegle heel.

Materials
Yarn: 100 g Schoppel-Wolle Admiral or equivalent
Needles and notions: Double pointed needles size 2½ mm or US 1½, 2 stitch markers
Gauge: 32 stitches / 40 rows in Stockinette stitch = 10 cm or 4 inches
Sizes: Ladies S (M L)
