As someone who has knit for a long time I have made a lot of shawls. At a point in time I realized that I just don’t use triangular shawls all that much, at least not nearly as much as I will use a giant
rectangular wrap, which experience has shown me is something I will use a lot. This wrap is reversible with a pattern repeat that is easy to keep moving on once you get in the groove. Fringe is
optional, but I’m a sucker for details so I suggest adding it on.

This pattern uses garter stitch and a reversible cable so there is not a “correct” side to have facing out when wearing.
