Colors seem to peek from behind a mesh of black in these quick and easy fingerless mitts. A simple broken seed stitch pattern worked in two colors looks like complicated colorwork, while in reality, it is nothing more than knits and purls.

These mitts are knit in the round from the bottom up, starting with ribbing and moving on to a two color broken seed stitch pattern. Pattern is written and not charted.
