If you are new to angle stitches, I highly recommend trying them first with this free Heart Mug Rug pattern. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/heart-mug-rug-2 This small 7”x 7” project is a great introduction to my angle notation system and includes my full stitch key.

There is space in the design to personalize your blanket with a name. I have several alphabet fonts available that fit this space nicely (sold separately). https://www.ravelry.com/bundles/alphabets-21

Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:
• Charts
• Written Pattern
• Detailed Instructions packet
• Stitch Key
• Photo tutorials
• Video tutorials for each type of stitch used in the pattern

Size: 40”x 55”

Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation was based on weight 4 worsted/aran yarn and hook size of 4mm. Gauge: 4 stitches and 4 rows=1 inch

Yarn:
Color A (Dark/design/paw prints/shadows/outline) – 903 yds
Color B (Light color/background) –1520 yds

Note: It is important to keep Color A your dark color and Color B your light color due to the use of the shadows in this design.

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (5 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together.

Special thanks to Jane Tonnellier for testing this pattern!
