Scialle Penny, il modello può essere realizzato utilizzando due diversi filati di Laines du Nord.

Poema Nuance e Poema Tweed. Il modello è lo stesso, ma il risultato è diverso.

Poema Tweed cm 10X10 motivo 13 maglie 28 ferri

Poema Nuance ha la particolarità di diversi cambi di colore, il risultato è uno scialle a righe di spessore differente.

Poema Tweed, il cambio colore è meno netto e i cambi colore sono meno numerosi.
Lo scialle quindi sfuma da un colore ad un altro dolcemente.

Lo scialle è lavorato in piano, da un lato all’altro.
Si inizia con poche maglie.
La lavorazione è di traverso e si ottiene eseguendo:
nei ferri dispari una diminuzione all’inizio e un aumento alla fine;
nei ferri pari sempre un aumento all’inizio.

E’ sufficiente una ciambella di entrambi i filati.

Lo scialle è lavorato a fasce dove si alternano:

• un motivo decorativo
• un motivo a piccoli fori. Finendo con la maglia legaccio che è presente anche nel bordo.

I due filati hanno spessori leggermente diversi si ottengono quindi due scialli con misure leggermente diverse:
Scialle Penny con Poema Nuance misura circa 195 cm di larghezza, 50 cm di altezza.
Scialle Penny con Poema Tweed misura circa 200 cm, 49 cm di altezza.

Ferri circolari n. 5,5.

Il pattern è composto da tre PDF:

parte a: le caratteristiche dello scialle (nella prima pagina) nelle successive ogni singolo ferro con la direzione del lavoro, il ferro di riferimento, i punti lavorati e le maglie totali di ogni ferro.
Nell’ultima pagina la spiegazione delle abbreviazioni con il loro significato e i simboli utilizzati negli schemi.

parte b: è dedicata interamente agli schemi dello scialle.
Ho fatto questa scelta pensando a chi vuole realizzare uno scialle ma ha difficoltà nel seguire gli schemi.

PENNY SHAWL – ENGLISH VERSION

The Penny shawl can be made using two different Laines du Nord yarns.

Poema Nuance and Poema Tweed. The model is the same, but the result is different.

Poema Nuance cm 10x10 pattern 16 stitches - 25 rows
Poema Tweed cm 10x10 pattern 13 stitches - 28 rows

Poema Nuance has the particularity of different color changes, the result is a striped shawl of different thickness.

Poema Tweed the color change is less clear and the color changes are fewer. The shawl then fades from one color to another smoothly.

The shawl is worked flat, back and forth, from one side to the other.
Start with few stitches.
The work is crosswise and is obtained by making
RS: a decrease at the beginning of the row and an increase at the end
WS: always an increase at the beginning.

A cake is enough to knit both the shawl.

The shawl is knitted in bands alternating a decorative motif and an openwork motif.
Finishing with the garter stitch which is also present in the edge.

The two yarns have different weight, so the measurements are slightly different.

Circular needles no. 5.50 mm of 100 cm.

part A: the characteristics of the shawl (on the first page) in the following pages each single row with the direction of work, the reference row, the stitches worked and the total stitches of each row.
On the last page the explanation of the abbreviations with their meaning and the symbols used in the diagrams.

part B: is dedicated entirely to shawl charts.
