The Penny Pocket Scarf is designed to be playful, practical, and warm! Directions are given for two sizes, adult and child, along with directions for easy customization of the length. Two pocket style options are also included, one a more feminine style and the other a more gender neutral look. This scarf is made with weight category six yarn, making it extra warm and a project that can be completed over a couple evenings! (PLEASE NOTE: The pattern for the ear warmer shown in one of the images above is not INCLUDED in this purchase.)

You should be familiar with basic knitting terms, know how to purl and knit, how to do basic cables, make simple increases (INC 1) and K2Tog decreases, and know how to sew an invisible vertical seam.

~U.S. 13 (10.00 mm) Straight Knitting Needles

~Cable Needle (only for the cabled pocket option)

~ Super Bulky Yarn (Weight Category 6)—approximately 300 yards (approximately 110 yards for the child size) (Scarf in images above was knit with one skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick)

~Two 2” round buttons (for faux button look) or two 1-3/8” x 7/16” Toggle Buttons (for functional button option)
