This is a toy dinosaur worked in the round on double point needles. The eyes and mouth are embroidered using scrap yarn.

Using DK yarn, the toy will be about 16 by 9 inches (42 x 23 cm). The sample used about 350 yards of DK yarn on US 4 (3.5mm) needles.

With sock yarn (fingering) the toy will be slightly smaller, 15 by 8.5 inches (38 x 22 cm). The sample used about 270 yards of sock yarn on US 3 (3.25 mm) needles.

One stitch marker, a stitch holder, and a tapestry needle are suggested.

The Pentaceratops (5-horned) dinosaurs lived around 76–73 million years ago and were about 20 feet (6 meters) long. Sadly, this version is missing two of his horns.
