This is a fun and fancy style of undersleeve that is more ornamental. It is meant to be worn with an open style sleeve. The double cuff makes it rather warm. The pattern is adjustable in size,
and the upper arm cuff stays in place with elastic. If desired, you can add elastic to the wrist.

This pattern was originally featured in Peterson’s 1860. Original pattern and my modern adaptation are in the pattern book!
