Looking for a lightweight version of the Partners In Colour Mitts?

Knitted in fingering-weight yarn with a single strand, these mitts are perfect for wearing outdoors in milder weather and can also be handy indoors—great for keeping your hands warm while working at the computer or around the house.

This version keeps all the features of the original: a unisex fit, bold colour blocking, sideways construction, short rows, and an invisible graft to finish.

The thumb gusset uses a refined variation of the Indian thumb, where the short-row shaping creates a mirrored line on the front and back—perfect for experimenting with colour.

Try a contrasting thumb for a striking accent, or keep things minimalist with a single shade. This version is especially great for sock yarn sets, yarn leftovers, or mini skeins.
