Sing-Song Scarf
Enjoy a 25% introductory discount on the individual pattern through Sun, 5th Oct 2025.
This pattern was designed to pair with Partners In Colour Mitts. It can be purchased individually or in an e-book as a set with the mitts.
The Sing-Song Scarf is a celebration of two colours in perfect harmony. Its unique design features a single, flowing wave that gracefully divides the scarf lengthwise, allowing two shades to dance together in a sing-song rhythm.
The scarf is knit lengthwise, but while you start with a long cast-on, you’ll tackle the many stitches with short rows, one “hill” or “valley” at a time. This clever method creates intarsia-like colourwork without ever having to break your yarn.
The pattern includes two versions: Version A has a symmetrical structure, with matching ends. Version B has contrasting ends and is a bit longer.
Version A 226 sts / 44in (110 cm)
Version B 274 sts / 53.5in (134 cm)
Each version can be made longer in increments of 96 stitches = 18.5 in (47 cm).
YARN AND YARDAGE
