The Picadilly Collar is a striking collar with a wavy edge. The beaded waves and scalloped edges are designed to improve any neckline. So, if you have a plain knit sweater or a little black dress that needs embellishment, this collar is a perfect accessory. The unique fold-over layer finishes the collar adding a contemporary look to a traditional feather and fan lace pattern.

The pattern is not yarn specific and is small enough to be a great stashbuster. The yarn used here knitted up as Aran weight and had a metallic finish to it. In some parts of the pattern the yarn is held together. More details are with the pattern in the book.
The beads are optional but do give the collar that extra zing.

This collar is one of the many patterns in Modern Vintage Knitting: Volume 2 which is available worldwide on Amazon.
