Picnic
The Picnic shawl is inspired by the traditional picnic basket Anna Hechtman’s parents carried throughout her childhood. Made of woven cane, the basket always accompanied family outings to the park, where they would meet friends and spend hours playing and exploring. Featuring a basketweave texture and a central cable panel, this shawl is engaging to knit without being overly challenging. It is the perfect companion for a long, dreamy picnic — a truly timeless piece.
