These patterns teach you how to create a sweet picot trim while perfecting your knitting “in the round” technique. To knit both projects, you will need approximately 2 skeins of wool in your main colour and a half skein of wool in each of colours 2 and 3 (based on a 3.5 oz/100 g skein of wool (appx 150 m/164 yd). I knit the toque and hat in the photo using Fleece and Harmony’s Signature wool (shown in “Spruce”, “Seafoam” and “Natural”). You can order wool through our website under the tab “Knitting Notions and Necessities”.

Knit using 4.5mm (US #7) straight & double pointed needles with a medium weight (#4) wool (appx 137 m per 100 gm/150 yds per 3.5 oz skein to achieve a gauge of approximately 18 stitches and 26 rows to a 10 cm (4”) square when knit in a stockinette stitch. The mittens and toque pictured were knit with Fleece and Harmony’s Signature Wool in worsted weight.
