Pierre is a polar bear measuring about 12cm. It’s a good pattern for beginners to amigurumi or toy making. The finished bear is a perfect gift for children, as the materials used are simply wool and fibrefill stuffing. You could easily customise him by adding a scarf or hat.

The pattern is suitable for beginner crocheters wanting a bit of a challenge, and uses techniques such as magic ring, single crochet, increase and decrease. You will need white DK/light worsted yarn (or other yarn suitable for your hook), fibrefill or toy stuffing and a 3mm crochet hook. Pierre can be made larger or smaller by varying the size of the hook.
