The large bright pigs on this hat will make the perfect gift for a pig lover. This stranded hat is knit in the round. Knit with as few colors as possible each row, this is a good challenge for new stranded knitters and a quick project for pros.

The pattern is designed for an upper elementary school student or tween (ages 9-12) but can be easily sized up with larger needles.

This uses a quarter skein of Cascade 220 Superwash, a light worsted or DK yarn, for the grass and sky and small amounts of pink, dark pink, and a few strands of black yarn. Total yarn would weigh about 60 grams.

This is my first pattern on Ravelry. I’d really enjoy seeing photos of any projects that use my chart!
