The Pinch of Spice hat is my perfect recipe for 95% “mindless knitting” and a 5% “pinch of spice.” The cables that create this pattern are intuitive and simple to work.

Alternating Cable Cast On, basic cables

Sizes
The 2x2 rib creates a very stretchy fabric. If between two sizes, it is suggested to size down.

US 7 / 4.5 mm or one size larger than needle used to get gauge, 16” circular needle and DPN’s or longer circular needle for working decreases using magic loop
