This is a summer top with granny squares placed on bias, so the diagonals of the squares create the bust and waist shaping.

Any summer-style yarn may be used, be it cotton, linen, bamboo or microfiber, in varying weights, between Medium and Light (4 or 3, with 140-200 meters per 100 grams).

The gauge is given as the square size for each finished dimension (for the three sizes). No sizes larger than L are given due to the tubular shape of the top. It can be expanded by increasing the square size, though.

If you want to use thinner yarn than recommended, simply increase the number of rows for each square to reach the recommended size for the square for the size you are making.

I hope you enjoy this pattern and make the most of it this summer.
