Who doesn’t need a pair of cozy tree socks? Who doesn’t have “pines and needles“ waiting for the holiday season to arrive? Who doesn’t love a good pun?

These are fun Wintery socks for the season ahead. You can stick to snowy vibes, go woodsy, or Christmas it right up! The pattern uses simple slip stitch mosaic techniques so you don’t have to be intimidated by knitting with two colours at once. The strands carried on the inside by the slipped stitches give you an extra layer of warmth, while the contrast between knit and purl stitches on the outside provide depth and texture in the scenery.

There are 2 sizes included in the pattern.
S (L)
7.5 (9.5)“ / 19 (24) cm foot circumference

Measurements are of the unstretched sock.

Choose size based on foot circumference + 0” - 0.5” of negative ease.

By nature, colourwork socks are not as stretchy as plain knit socks. If in-between sizes, size up.

Size S foot length may be increased to match size L.

100 (150) g of fingering weight yarn

Colour A: 195 (230) m / 213 (252) yds
Colour B: 132 (180) m / 144 (197) yds

Please be advised that wool requirements and finished size measurements are approximate. Actual values may vary based on garment size, yarn, needle size, and gauge.
