DESCRIPTION

The Pinstripe Tank Top has a clean, minimalist look with a ribbed pattern running vertically. It’s knitted with light fingering yarn creating a lightweight and breathable knit, with a close but relaxed fit that drapes naturally. The rounded neckline and fairly wide shoulder straps are creating a modern, slightly sporty silhouette.

It is knitted top down, starting at the back, followed by working the shoulders separately first, until they are joined to work the front. Under the arms, the front and the back parts are joined to work in rounds. The neckline and armhole trimmings are worked in stockinette stitch, folded and sewn down later. The hem is neatly finished with a pleat and sits just below the waistline, making it easy to tuck in or wear loose.

The tank top is designed to have a positive ease of about 5 cm. Measure yourself to decide how much positive ease you would like to have or compare it with another tank top you already own to choose the right size for you. For example, if your bust measures 87 cm you should knit size 2.

The light grey sample was knitted with SilYa, colour Lichtgrau in size 1 with 5 cm positive ease.

The white sample was knitted with Pinta, colour natural in size 2 with 11 cm positive ease.
