DESCRIPTION

The Refined Shoulder Sweater plays with volume, proportion, and structure through a deliberately oversized silhouette and dropped shoulders. Distinctive shoulder lines at the back introduce a subtle architectural element, giving the relaxed shape a more directional edge. Designed to fall effortlessly around the body, it balances ease with considered construction. A ribbed crew neckline brings the look back to its clean, understated core.
The sweater is worked from the top down, beginning with a provisional cast-on at the center of the back. This construction allows for the distinctive shoulder shaping, which is achieved by working German Short Rows on each side of the back. The front sections are then worked separately to shape the neckline before being joined to the back at the underarms. From there, the body is
worked seamlessly in the round to the desired length. For the neck ribbing two options are offered - one close to the neck and one more relaxed.
Sleeve stitches are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round. Gentle decreases shape the sleeves, resulting in a relaxed fit with 2 x 2 ribbings as cuffs.

The Refined Shoulder Sweater is designed to have a relaxed fit with a positive ease of about 30-40 cm. Measure yourself to decide how much positive
ease you would like to have and compare it with another sweater you already own to choose the right size for you.

Note: All samples shown are size 1 with 40 cm positive ease on a body height of 1,76 m. Size down, if you are 1,65 m or smaller.
