It’s easier than it looks!

Essentially this scarf it is made by crocheting a loose scarf with horizontal stripes, followed by weaving different colours through the gaps for vertical stripes. This scarf measures 27cm x 150cm (10.5 inch x 59 inch) and weighs 250g (9 ounces).

I’ve written this pattern in UK terms with US in brackets. We use 8ply yarn as standard in Australia (DK in USA) so you may need to reduce your hook size or stitches if using American worsted weight yarn. If you do remove stitches, just remember this will reduce the vertical weave stripes also.
