How can you resist a cake of yarn that looks like a cupcake with that pompom on top? I certainly couldn’t, but I just didn’t want to make another hat. If you take four of them and attach the pompoms to each corner, you end up with an adorable baby blanket.

This blanket is worked modularly, and was designed to use as much of each yarn cake as possible.

The pattern can be easily adapted to a larger size if using different yarn: just make sure you have enough!

MATERIALS NEEDED: 4 Caron Cupcakes (85 gms/244 yds), DK weight yarn OR 1000 yds of DK weight yarn of your choice
