Playing with Waves is a rectangular shawl made of colorful wavy sections. These sections alternate two kinds of ‘wave stitches’, that are very similar to each other (although looking quite different) which makes the pattern very easy to memorize. The borders are kept neat and tidy thanks to two integrated i-cords. The frequent change in color and type of wave makes this shawl a fun and entertaining knit.

The shawl is totally adjustable both in length and in width.

For my original sample I used a Sport weight yarn, the lovely mYak Tibetan Cloud, but the pattern is suitable also for fingering or DK yarns.

In order to obtain the best results I recommend to use solid colors as variegated yarns would hide the pattern.
