I come from a long line of seafaring people…
Lies.
I grew up by the ocean.
I LOVE the ocean but rarely took a dip in it.
We were pond people.
Seaweed, jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, nurse sharks were all awesome, unless they touched me when I waded in the sea. But when I design, I love to find a spot to put a bit of the ocean in the final product. This hat is an homage to all the colorful life in the sea.
Available to make in 4 sizes in Worsted weight wool. Liner is optional, but makes for great warmth on the high seas. Or in the city too.

I would also like to note that I had this name in mind for a long time. I thought a hat like this would be a great gift for someone who found themselves newly single. My mom always said “There are plenty of other fish in the sea….” Lol.
