About the Pattern
Plinio top is worked top-down in one piece using 3.5 mm needles. The neckline is knitted in twisted rib, using 4 twisted knit stitches and 2 twisted purl stitches. The yoke continues in rib, but with 4 regular knit stitches and 2 regular purl stitches. Raglan increases are used to shape the yoke until the sleeves are separated. Raglan increases then continue only on the front and back pieces, until stitches are cast on for the underarms and the front and back are joined. Work continues in rib until reaching the split, where additional stitches are cast on and the piece is worked back and forth while buttonholes are created. The top is bound off using a stretchy bind-off. Finally, all loose ends are woven in, and buttons are sewn on.
