This is a fun little purse / tote inspired by the Buttonhole Bag pattern (no longer available) and Nilla’s Buttonhole Bag here on Ravelry. One significant difference is the cast on which has you knitting in the round right away w/ no pesky pick-ups. There are videos and tutorials available on line for the Turkish cast-on, it’s really fun.

The pattern is intended to use up one whole skein of the Magnum. I don’t have a yardage for the contrast yarn. You can use multiple strands of different colors to get a heathered effect, which is what I did. My guess is that all together about 20-30 yards of contrast was used (counting doubling or tripling strands).
