To follow this pattern you should be comfortable crocheting using bulky yarn, and know basic stitches (single crochet, increases, decreases, bobbles and slip stitch). There are color changes but you could make them all in 1 color if you choose. All abbreviations and tools/materials are listed in the pattern and there are clear photos along the way to guide you through the process.

When using the suggested materials, finished Puppy (in inches) will be palm size, about
3.5 in height with tail, 3 from head to feet and 3.5 wide with ears.
