These texting mitts, or fingerless gloves, are very comfortable to wear because they have a thumb gusset. They are knit in the stockinette stitch, using two colors of yarn, most effective when there is a contrast in colors or hues. The two color design provides a great beginning project for learning the stranded knitting or Fair Isle method. Notions required are row counter, stitch markers, small stitch holder, tapestry needle.

Uses DK weight, two colors or hues are needed.
