This beanie is a great introduction to the purl stitch, but it’s perfect
for knitters of all skill levels. Alternating knits and purls form a gridlike
design with ridges of moss stitch for a unique texture that’s still
flexible. The Polar Purlin’ Beanie is a very quick knit that makes it perfect for a last-minute gift. This is also my first pattern to include sizing for children and babies!

Gauge swatches should be worked in pattern - approximate gauge on US15 circular needles is 7.5 sts and 8 rows = 3”.
