Recommended materials:

• 670 g / 23.7 oz / 1200 yards in color A and 230 g / 8.2 oz / 412 yards in color B of #4 worsted weight yarn. Shown here Caron One Pound (100% acrylic, 453.6 g / 16 oz / 742 m / 812 yards) in Soft Grey Mix (color A) and White (color B).
• Alternatively: Worsted / #4 weight yarn. Shown here Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted Yarn (110 yds / 100.6 m / 50 g), 12 (13) skeins / 600 (640) g / 21.2 (22.6) oz / 1320 (1410) yards in Dove Heather (color A) and 5 (6) skeins / 235 (255) g / 8.2 (9) oz / 412 (561) yards in Seraphim (color B). This yarn though labeled Worsted can be considered #3 / DK / Light Worsted weight.

Size:

• One size fits most S – LX / 86.5 – 117 cm / 34 – 46’’. Sweater is shown on a model size M / 38’’ / 96.5 cm bust circumference for Heavy Worsted yarn.
• S/M (L/XL/2X) / 86/96 (106/117/127) cm / 34/38 (41 ¾/46/50)’’ for Light Worsted yarn.

Gauge:

• Square Motif side is 18 cm (7’’).
• Half Double Crochet Rib Stitch: 8 rows x 13 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4’’ x 4’’ made with 5 mm / H - 8 hook.
