Polka Face is a dense, and rather juicy looking, gathering of polka dots. The pattern consists of two simple colour charts, one for the body of the hat and one for the decreasing ‘spokes’ so that the polka dots extend to every corner, a/ they rightly should!

The stranded colour work creates an insulating extra layer, so it’s really warm and coupled with a big squishy brim and dense Pom Pom I’m betting you’ll feel snug and secure in this chappy.

Required: 4mm 16” circular needles, 4mm DPNs and two contrasting colours of Rico essential merino Aran. You can use a Pom Pom maker, or DIY template for the Pom.

Measurements: 18-19cm (7-7.5”) tall, 55cm (21”) circumference.
