This pattern is a bonus pattern for the Sock Madness competition. It will be available to everyone when the competition ends, probably around June/July 2026.

In music, polyrhythm means simultaneously using multiple rhythms that are not manifestations of the same metric. In knitting when using two or more patterns in a garment, the number of rows for the patterns is usually the same or a multiple of the other number. In POLYRHYTHM socks I decided to apply the musical approach and I use a 4:3 cross-rhythm - the outside pattern goes over 4 rounds, and the inside lace over 3 rounds. The lowest common multiple for such pattern is 12 rounds, what keeps the pattern interesting and fun to knit.

This pattern includes charts and written instructions for 3 sizes - 60, 68 and 76 stitches.
