This is a colorwork addition to All About Ami’s Uptown Cardigan pattern. You can find the cardigan pattern free here: https://www.allaboutami.com/pattern-the-uptown-cardigan/

The download includes an explanation of how I used the colorwork charts (back panel and both pockets), and a PDF version of all 3 charts. JPG versions of all three charts also available upon request! (I can’t figure out how to upload JPGs to Ravelry!)

I made the chart to accompany my size small cardigan, so it is 165 rows tall and 127 stitches across. This means that for any size, if you stick with the exact measurements of the colorwork chart you will just need to incorporate more main color stitches on either side of the chart and more rows on top and bottom. In this way, it is adaptable for any project/size as long as the pattern calls for more than 165 rows and 127 stitches across.

I believe this also means that it can be made in crochet! I have NO idea how colowork works with crochet, but I’d love to hear from someone who knows! The only problem is that the cardigan from Stephanie that is the crochet version of the Uptown Cardigan (The Rosewood Cardigan: https://www.allaboutami.com/pattern-rosewood-cardigan/) for the size small is 121 stitches across. This means the back of the cardigan is slightly less stitches than the colorwork chart. In this case, the chart just needs to be modified by the crocheter to remove the extra stitches.
