This Poppy Bollard Topper is about the size of small dinner plate. Ideal for Remembrance Sunday and can be done in any colour of your choice.

I have used Chunky Acrylic Yarn in Red, Green & Black with a 6mm Hook but any yarn can be used, 4ply, DK, or Aran, please adjust your hook size to the yarn being used. Should you use an alternative yarn please remember that your Poppy will be a different finished size. Although I have said black yarn for the middle, medium grey can look just as effective if you struggle to crochet in black.

Gauge 24 wire or .5mm

I have given a stitch count per row but don’t panic if you are a few stitches out, it adds to the charm & individuality of your Poppy.
