Two completely different looks in one pattern!

The sock goes from short and classy to long, retro and slouchy…and it’s a breeze to knit! The toe foot and heel are knit with an eye of partridge stitch for added strength…and because it’s just plain pretty!

Worked with an easily memorizable pattern you will find this to be a very rhythmical knit. The lace is stretchy so consider sizing down for a more snug fit.

Solid and tonal yarns will show off the patterning the best but the heavily variegated and speckled look super cute as well! Choose what appeals to you the most!

Gauge listed is for the eye of partridge pattern. Total overall averaged gauge on the foot of the sock (lace and eye of partridge) is 7.25 st./in. The lace has a lot of give which makes the adorable slouchy sock when you move up the leg. Whatever version you knit I know you will love the look and the fit!
