Prairie Star is a blanket knit entirely in the round, beginning in the center. A circular cast on method is recommended. It knits up quickly using worsted weight yarn. Gauge is not crucial and will affect the finished size. Working more repeats can easily be done if a larger blanket is desired. It works well with both variegated and solid yarn, and can be used as a stash busting project.
