Primavera poncho has a lovely scalloped neckline edge with a row of holes that can be used to thread a cord or elastic if you want to hold it more firmly.

The stitch pattern is very textured while knitting,
but when it is blocked it smooths out for a different look.

It is cast on at the neck edge and worked in the round
to create 4 triangular panels, for a square poncho.

The lace section will use approximately 200 g,
the stocking stitch and border will use approximately 80 g,
be sure to save 20 g for the I-cord bind off.

Yarn: 3 x 100 g Merino 4 ply wool. 400 m per 100 g.

Size: 100 cm x 100 cm. Neckline edge (64 cm circumference).

Gauge: 22 sts x 30 rows in stocking stitch = 10 cm square with 4 mm needles.

Needles: 3 mm circular needles for cast on and neck border, 4 mm circular needles for the main part.

Notions: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
