The Primo Cardigan is a boxy fit, drop shoulder cardigan knit seamlessly from the bottom up. The pattern provides for eight sizes (A (B) C (D) E (F) G (H)) and can be made in three body length variations (crop, standard, and long). The body is worked flat, divided between fronts and back (each worked separately), and the fronts are joined to the back at the shoulder. Short rows are used to transition the ribbed button band into the curved collar. The sleeves are worked in the round.

The Primo Cardigan is intended to fit similar to US unisex sweatshirts (approximately 8-12 in. (20-30 cm) of positive ease). The sleeve length is knit to fit.
