The Prue Cardigan is a belted cardigan with cable detailing around the neck and down the centre back. With balloon sleeves and a neat ribbed cuff around the wrist, this cardigan is about to be your new favourite make.

Made in gorgeously squishy Aran yarn, this cardigan works up in no time! The front post and back post stitches are fun and addictive but not too intense, making this project the perfect balance between mindful and interesting.

It’s a relatively simple pattern made from simple shapes seamed together and is a great introduction to crochet cables. I would rate this pattern as intermediate, but I would encourage confident beginners to have a go!

Bust sizes given as XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X): 100 (110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 165, 170) cm requiring a total of 1019 (1124, 1182, 1401, 1504, 1596, 1818, 1874, 1928) metres of Aran-weight yarn

This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
