Prune is worked from bottom to top. It figures out two cable patterns on an inverse stockinette lay out. It is a quick work and a fun knitting.

It is offered for a child but the size is highly adaptable. Just increase or decrease the necessary number of stitches, taking care to obtain a multiple of four.

Circumference: 16” (40 cm); height: 10” (25 cm) hem open; 7.5” (19 cm) hem closed.

MATERIAL
Yarn
Bergère de France: Sport (9% acrylique, 51% yarn; 50 g, 1.8 oz/ 98 yd, 90 m), colour Pimprenelle, 20359: 1 ball.
Needle
1 circular needle US 6 (4 mm), 16” (40 cm); or 5 double pointed needles US 6 (4 mm).
1 cable needle.
Notion
3 stitch markers
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

GAUGE
4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm): 20 sts. x 28 rows worked with needle US 6 (4 mm) in stockinette.
