Puff Coaster
Hi! I’m super excited; this will be my first pattern that I’m selling! (It means so much to me for anybody who buys this.) The other day, I saw how many people had put my patterns in their favorites and I was so happy! I love making and creating my own patterns, as well as making other patterns too. Thank you everybody who has downloaded my patterns!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
These coasters are super easy to make, and you could even make them with a bigger sized yarn and just do less rows. There is only one special stitch and that is the puff stitch. I will have a little section on how to do the puff stitch so you don’t have to go and look it up. Other stitches are single crochet and a magic ring.
The finished piece has a diameter of 5” with the puff stitches. This may seem a little big but I purposely did this so that the puff stitches can be seen easily, along with a bit of single crochet. I think that it looks fine, but if you want it to be slightly smaller then you can take off two rows before the puff stitches. I will put a note in the pattern so you can see where I mean.
These coasters are crocheted in the round. You will need a stitch marker to mark your beginning stitch. You will not be slip stitching into where your stitch marker is though; the stitch right before the marker is the last stitch in the round. This way, when you finish, There will be no line of slip stitches marring your beautiful coaster!
This pattern is super easy so I’d say that it is Beginner level. Gauge doesn’t matter much. The cotton kings yarn may look like its hard to crochet with at first because of each of the little strands, but I assure you that once you start you will see that it really isn’t all that hard. However, if you don’t feel comfortable using this yarn, you can use any other fine weight cotton yarn.
Sorry if the pictures are kinda bad. It’s a really dreary day with lots of rain, so I had to use inside lights and it didn’t turn out too well. I guess I could’ve waited but I always try to publish my patterns as soon as possible because waiting is just so hard!! Yeah, in some of the pictures the coasters look a lot lighter than in the others. Forgive me!!
And I think that just about covers it! If there are any mistakes please let me know and I will do my best to fix them right away. Thank you!
P.S. Please feel free to leave a comment and/or post a picture of your finished piece. Thank you!
P.P.S You may sell what you make from this pattern, but not the actual pattern. Remember to credit me as the designer!
