Punapaula
No purl. Just knit.
One skein scarf by MeiPuKnits
How amazing that you can use sock yarns to knit scarfs and shawls. I love how soft and light this particular Schoppel-Wolle yarn is. Even though this is fingering yarn, for this pattern you use size 8 / 5 mm needles. So almost like knitting a thicker yarn.
Punapaula fiery red lace scarf is interspersed with two different sized circles. The larger ones are made by knit-yarn over-knit stitches, alternating with smaller ones, made by regular yarn over stitches. They create a nice airy feel to the scarf. Punapaula is a pleasure to knit and pure joy to wrap around your neck.
Punapaula scarf is knitted lengthwise
with alternating yarn over stitches creating a long and stripy shape. This scarf is quick to finish and a joy to wear
