The Purline Sweater is a seamless, top-down raglan worked in the round. It begins at the neckline, with German short rows used to raise the back neck, followed by carefully shaped shoulder, sleeve-cap and raglan increases. Once the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are separated and worked individually.
The signature feature is the four-stitch panel that begins at each shoulder and continues as a clean, delicate line down the centre of the sleeve all the way to the cuff. Together with the softly rolled neckline, hem and cuffs, it gives the sweater a relaxed, understated finish.

Designed to be an easy-to-wear everyday sweater, Purline has a relaxed silhouette with positive ease 7 cm / 2¾ in . The model in the pictures has a bust of 85 cm and wears size S.

The pattern is written for nine sizes, from XXS to 4XL, and includes finished garment measurements so you can choose the size that best suits your preferred fit.

Gauge: 19 stitches and 25 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 in in stockinette stitch, after blocking, on 4.5 mm needles.

Yarn: The pattern is designed for a light, airy worsted-weight fabric.
Suggested options include Drops Air, Rowan Kid Classic and Isager Highland Wool, with the possibility of holding suitable yarns together with Silk Mohair. A luxury version can be made with fingering-weight cashmere or a cashmere blend held with lace-weight mohair-silk.
The soft pink sample in the picture is knitted with cashmere yarn and the blue sample with merino wool.

Skill level: Intermediate.
You should be comfortable knitting in the round and working German short rows.
