Quadtee is a basic, everyday tee knitted with DK-weight summer yarn. Its most distinctive feature is that it can be worn either way—front or back, right side out or inside out. The neckline, shaped using short-row knitting, has a different shape on the front and back. When you wear it with the front in the front, it makes a rounded square neckline. When you wear it with the back in the front, it becomes a square neckline. The body have about 15–20 cm of positive ease, ensuring a comfortable and flattering fit.

CONSTRUCTION
Quadtee is worked seamlessly from the top-down. Starting with the neckband, then short-rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back square neck shape. Then, knit the raglan
and body in the round while increasing stitches on both sides of the four raglan lines. Once the yoke is complete, divide the stitches for the sleeves and the body. The sleeve stitches are placed on a stitch holder and work the body top-down. Sleeves are worked in the round to the rim. Finally, fold the neckline (option), body hem, and sleeve edges in half and sew them to finish. You can choose from four different options for finishing the folded neckband. Furthermore, whilst the folded hems at the hem and cuffs are sewn, Isuggest a method that is simple and produces a neat finish, even for beginners.

GAUGE
21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” Stockinette stiches on main needle after blocking.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
4 mm (US6) (depending on your knitting tension) for main and 3.5 mm (US4) circular needle for neck, ,body hem and sleeve hems.

DROPS BELLE: 53% cotton/ 33% viscose/ 14% linen, 131 yds (120 m)/50 g
You can also use two strands of fingering-weight linen or cotton yarn together. Be sure to do a test knit to check the gauge.
