Queen of Diamonds is an open front, lacey cardigan with stockinette sleeves-- perfect for spring and summer layering!

Queen of Diamonds is cast on at the bottom and knit in one piece to the underarm. The right front panel is worked next, then the back, and lastly the left front panel. The live stitches of the two front panels are seamed together using the three needle bind off, and that piece is then seamed to the back panel. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the arm holes created in this process, and the sleeves are worked in stockinette in the round from the shoulders to the cuffs.

Sweater is designed to be worn with 4-8”/ 10-20cm of positive ease, measured from the widest part of your chest.

My sample is a size 3 worn with 4” of positive ease.

Yarn
Any DK weight yarn, approx. 650 (700, 800, 950) (1050, 1150, 1300)(1400, 1500, 1650) yards / 600 (650, 730, 870)(960, 1050, 1180)(1280, 1370, 1500) meters.

Sample is knit from Tosh DK in Norway Spruce
