This sock combines elongated slipped stitches with eyelet columns giving the entire sock a delightful texture that is also quite stretchy. When working with self striping yarn, a slipped stitch can carry one color over the next. Using that technique here introduces a chevron type look to the otherwise rigid lines of a self striping yarn.
